In 2010, Gary set up a home clinic in Christchurch in conjunction with his BnB until moving to North Canterbury in 2012, where he set up a 4-room luxury BnB in the country which also offers beauty, spa, and massage treatments.
Many of Gary’s clients often comment that he has ‘healing hands.’ His massage techniques could be defined as eclectic. Gary communicates with and listens to the client as to what they require, reading the body and doing what is necessary to achieve the best outcome for the client. No two massages will be the same as he adopts different massage modalities to suit the individual, whether it be relaxation, therapeutic, deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, or even a touch of lomi lomi.
Client comfort is at the forefront of Gary’s mind. Making sure the client is well looked after and their needs are met regardless of whether they are coming in for a massage, a spray tan, a waxing treatment, a facial, or body treatment. You can rely on Gary’s professionalism and knowledge to help you achieve your goals.
Outside of work, Gary likes to explore new places, travel, care for his beloved border collies and other pets. Gary also has a strong interest in the performing arts and looks forward to meeting you all soon.
Gary has a varied work history but completed a Diploma in Beauty Therapy and Applied Aesthetics in December 2009 from the National School of Aesthetics in Christchurch. Gary also completed additional training in various massage modalities, plus Indian head massage, herbal studies, aromatherapy, and reflexology at the College of Natural Medicine when it was based in Christchurch.
